Firstly, I was over charged for the room which I am very annoyed about. The booking price was completely different from the actual price. Secondly, don't expect to get any sleep in this hotel as the neighbours will happily play instruments until passed 12 midnight. ( when you have to be up at 3am for a flight) another disgusting factor is that if you're in a wheelchaire or heavily pregnant, just know you will need to climb 500 flights of stairs just to get to your room... No lifts or even a chair lift in order. Im also guessing that they just put no smoking signs up for a laugh as the people staying in the room next to us were hot boxing the hall way which yes, had seeped into our room. Worst place I've ever stayed and wouldn't return if I was paid. Do not be fooled by the price.

This is a place where you get what you pay for. Having said that it was not a cheap place either. Its location is great. closer to metro s.1 Km or less away from the busy areas such as the Plaza Mayor. The bathroom is small like most hotels in Europe. We were ok with this but there were wires hanging from the geezer right above the WC. Not very safe specially if you have kids. The heated towel rack in the bathroom was a bit rusty. There was no detergents to wash any dishes. We had to buy everything. Atleast a little hand wash is expected when you get an apartment. The apartment had a Double bedroom. There were 2 other single beds outside with the pantry and little table. We were just 2 and only used the Double bed which was very comfortable. Pillows were narrow and long, which I enjoyed so much. If you use the oven and have most of the lights on, the trip would go off and you will have no power. We went to the reception/office and complained and someone came up quickly and switched off all the switches of the fuse box and put them back on. We were told to do the same if it happened again. which it did. This is the worst..... please ask for a room which is not facing the road. There is a nightclub or something of the sort right opposite this apartment. Its a narrow road and young people are hovering around this area in the evening. Specially during weekends they are outside the club and there is so much noise non stop, screaming and shouting, that we just could not sleep. If you are a light sleeper you are doomed. The front staff were very nice. The staff don't speak much English.

This place is nothing special apart from the location it’s at. 2 mins walk to the Gran Via. The hustle and bustle of Madrid. The apartment was clean, although not cosy at all. It has the potential to be a lot better, but it seems like not much effort and time is been put into this. Check in was easy and fast. If you are just going to stop over to sleep, then this is your place.

On arrival we found there were no easy chairs, when we requested some we were informed they do not have any in their apartments. So after a day in the city there was nowhere to sit comfortably. The kitchen When getting the crockery out we found the majority is chipped. Cutlery there are only 2 teaspoons and 3 knives. The tap at the kitchen sink is so loose you feel it may well come away in your hand as you turn it on or off. There is no kettle in the apartment to make drinks with we were told to use the microwave which was faulty, the turntable failed to turn leaving some mugs boiling over while others were stone cold. The shower room, well there was so much mould in the shower tray it made me feel ill to look at it. The video of the shower compartment was taken after it had supposedly had an extra clean ! The corners on the floor have not seen a good clean in many a month. As for safety in the shower room I'm not sure how you feel about exposed electrics adjacent to the shower. The entrance door is covered in graffiti, and the front dest is situated in a room which like the whole of the building is dilapidated and generally run down. Opposite the Apartments is a Night Club, be warned if you are planning a stay over the Friday / Saturday night, be prepared for no sleep as the noise starts at approximately 9pm and goes on through to 7am. On the Plus Gran Via, Metros, Supermarkets and restaurants are all close by.

This apartment is worn down. The place is hard to find, the only way we found it was because we read on it prior to the trip. To our surprise the reviews were wrong. This apartment was not pleasant. The front desk is a little room with one desk, however the front desk guy was as helpful as he could be. Of course being Europe the elevator was small and very slow. The photos of the apartment online did not resemble the apartment at all, the door was hard to open and when we walked in the apartment was old and beaten up. There were no curtains on the windows. The main bedroom was an uncomfortable bed with old sheets. The dining area was barely standing and the extra double bed was in the middle of the kitchen. A good night's rest is needed in every vacation and you won't get that in this apartment unfortunately.
